MiniGPX sponsored rider, Peter Lenz heads to Europe

Mar 07, 2006, By Staff,

MiniGPX's only sponsored rider, Peter Lenz, a BMS factory rider is off to France and Spain (March 7-18) to rub elbows with the Europeans. In France he will spend a few days practicing with his French BMS counterparts as well as tour the BMS factory. He'll pick up his new '06 BMS 6.2 Air and head to Benidorm, Spain to race in the annual minimoto event which had 180 international riders in attendance last year.

Peter only began riding minimoto bikes just one year ago. Haven ridden motocross since he was five, the young lad took easily to the smoother rhythms of the small minibike. Taking 2nd in all his 2005 expert races, Peter proves to be a strong competitor. Peter is under the tutorage of Keith Code, who has coached the likes of Wayne Rainey, James Toseland, Eric Bostrom, and Tommy Hayden.

Peter will be journaling his travels and we plan to catch up with him upon his return to hear about the adventure. Peter isn't the only American rider making the trek, his BMS Factory rider teammate Bennie Taylor will be joining him.

MiniGPX is proud to sponsor this up and coming Minimoto and MiniGP rider.
