EDR Performance enters mini scene with signing of Peter Lenz for 2007 season

Peter Lenz signs with EDR Performance for 2007 season
For the 2007 season, EDR Performance is sponsoring junior road racer, Peter Lenz. Even though he isn't even a teenager yet, Peter has already proved he has what it takes to be an EDR supported rider. In 2006 he competed in the United States, Canada, Spain and France while riding for the Bianchi Motor Sports factory race team. He earned over 40 race wins and 9 championships, including a CMA sanctioned Canadian national title. In November he finished the 2006 season with three wins at the AMA Southern California Mini Gran Prix presented by Arai.
EDR Performance, the Pacific Northwest’s premier motorcycle performance center, has dominated the NW race scene since day one! In our first full year open we won 11 championships, including both OMRRA and WMRRA #1 plates. Eight years later, in 2006 we saw our riders capture yet another 10 championships, WMRRA's #1 plate, and set 2 track records and three land speed records. We could not have achieved those results without the best talent in the Northwest riding our bikes. Past EDR supported championship winning riders have included: Jake Holden, John Dugan, Dan Lippis and Mike Sullivan. 2007 looks to be an exciting year.
"With Eric's experience with racers like Jake Holden, I think he will provide me a bunch of help. EDR is a really good group with a great shop and I look forward to the great season ahead of us," commented Lenz who hails from Fort Vancouver, Washington.
EDR will be tuning all of Peter’s bikes and providing local trackside support throughout the 2007 season.
“I really want 2007 to be a fun year. We have won everything there is to win in the Northwest,” explained Eric Dorn founder of EDR Performance. “I have watched Peter grow up at the track, the little guy was always there when his dad was racing. He is a good kid who has fun off the track and when he puts the helmet on, he is all racer. I love the idea of having him as a part of EDR family and doing everything we can to help further his career in racing!”
