Canadian mini road racing series heads to Edmonton

The National Mini RoadRacing Series will officially kick start the race season at Stratotech Park, Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta May 18-20, 2007.

The newly named ‘PITSTER PRO CANADIAN NATIONAL MINI ROADRACING SERIES’, formerly the Western Canadian Mini RoadRacing series,’ The newest National Series promises to draw an incredible caliber of racers from across Canada and the United States’ quotes AMRA president Jay Fox.

Round #1 of the 5 Round National series will be hosted by the Alberta Mini RoadRacing Association. The AMRA boasts such accomplishments as hosting the largest North American Mini RoadRacing Event in 2006, and the creation of the spectacular National Indoor Mini RoadRacing Series: Round #2 in conjunction with long time sponsors Stratotech Park in Fort Saskatchewan, AB.

PISTER PRO http://www.pitsterpro.com will be on site to support racers as they compete at one of North America’s top tracks.

The AMRA promises that the 2007 season will continue to reflect the family values that have created such a successful organization. The sport of mini RoadRacing extends across all social, cultural and economic boundaries. With a strong focus on safety, camaraderie, good sportsmanship and competition the mini RoadRacing meets the fundamental needs of a society dedicated to improving the quality of life for everyone.

Saturday May 19 Practices & Qualifying 9-5 pm
Sunday May 20 Race Day 9-5pm
